The Year 2025: Wellness is hot right now — but it isn’t a trend.
Nimbus in 2025: A Year of Listening, Adapting, and Building for Real Life
If there was one word that defined 2025, it was full.
Full schedules.
Full heads.
Full nervous systems.
And while wellness as an industry continued to grow louder and shinier in 2025, what we kept hearing from our community was something much simpler: people just wanted somewhere to slow down.
That idea shaped everything we did at NIMBUS this year.
Wellness That Fits Real Lives
At the start of 2025, we asked ourselves a very honest question:
Is what we’re building actually working for the way people live now?
So we listened — properly. Through client surveys, conversations in studios, and the quiet moments between sessions. What we heard was encouraging: people still came to Nimbus because it felt like a place they could relax. A place to step out of the day and into something calmer.
But we also heard that disposable income was tighter in 2025. Life felt heavier. And consistency was harder.
So instead of asking people to do more, we focused on making it easier to show up.
Making Access Easier, Not More Complicated
In 2025, accessibility wasn’t a buzzword — it was a design principle.
We introduced Lunchtime Sweats, shorter 30-minute sauna sessions at lower price points, designed to fit into real workdays. We expanded off-peak pricing, and doubled down on initiatives like Two-for-Tuesday and Date Night, encouraging people to bring someone along at no extra cost.
We also launched Summer Memberships, rewarding consistency over intensity — two saunas per week for close to the price of one.
None of these were about discounting wellness.
They were about protecting it.
Community at the Heart in 2025
NIMBUS has always been family-owned and community-led, and 2025 reinforced how important that is.
We hosted a series of community events across the year — from Be Better Club and Plunge Club, to Nimbus Live events in Sydney and Byron, where we explored the big question we’re still asking: what actually makes a wellbeing?
There’s no single answer to that — and that’s okay. We’re committed to exploring it openly, together.
One of the most special moments of the year 2025 came right at the end, with a community event in Byron featuring Cameron Avery (Tame Impala). Breathwork, Pilates, ice baths and live music — a shared pause to close out what had been a hectic year for many.
Moments like that reminded us why we do this.
Growing the Studio Network (Without Losing the Soul)
In 2025, Nimbus continued to grow — but thoughtfully.
We opened new studios in Neutral Bay (Sydney) and Fitzroy (Melbourne), while also investing in existing locations with upgrades in Byron Bay and Richmond. Across several studios, we introduced LED face masks and compression therapy, expanding recovery options without overcomplicating the experience.
Our goal has never been growth for growth’s sake.
It’s about creating spaces people return to — again and again.
2025 Partnerships That Actually Mean Something
This year also marked a strong focus on partnerships — but only with brands that genuinely align with our values.
Collaborations with Bondi Active, STAX, Toledo, Standard X, and an upcoming partnership with New Denim helped extend Nimbus beyond our studios while staying true to who we are.
These partnerships weren’t about logos on walls. They were about shared ethos, community benefit, and building something that felt considered.
Products That Support the Everyday
Inside our studios in 2025, we expanded our retail offering with products designed to support everyday wellbeing — not perfection.
From NIMBUS Body Oil and Electrolytes, to Vitamin C and carefully curated brands like Embody Me, Ikari, and Tutta Fare, everything we stock is there for a reason: to help people recover, sleep better, and feel more regulated in daily life.
Beyond the Four Walls in 2025
One of the biggest shifts in 2025 was Nimbus expanding beyond its physical studios.
We sold and installed Nimbus Saunas in residential homes, Pilates studios, and wellness spaces across Australia. We began working with hotel groups, integrating Nimbus saunas and products into in-room experiences — reflecting a growing prioritisation of wellness, sleep, and recovery in travel.
We also launched our NIMBUS Loyalty Program in 2025, long requested by our community, allowing guests to earn rewards simply by showing up.
Looking Ahead to 2026
If 2025 was about listening and adapting, 2026 is about deepening.
Early in the year, we’ll launch our 28-Day Nimbus Challenge, combining education, tools, sauna and cold exposure to support habit-building that actually lasts.
We’re also introducing Pause, a retreat in partnership with Sun Ranch in Byron Bay — designed as a genuine reset, not an escape.
Our annual Welcome Your Wellbeing Day returns for its fifth year, offering a full day of free sessions across all studios — a tradition rooted in accessibility and community.
And we’re proud to have launched NIMBUS Bespoke Sauna & Wellness Builds in 2025, creating custom-designed saunas, steam rooms and cold therapy spaces for homes, offices and commercial environments. For now, it's goodbye 2025, hello 2026.
Consistency Over Chaos
Wellness is hot right now — but it isn’t a trend.
The research is clear: simple practices, done consistently, have profound long-term benefits. What matters isn’t intensity or optimisation. It’s sustainability.
At Nimbus, we believe wellness needs to be:
Achievable
Accessible
Sustainable
If it isn’t all three, it won’t last.
2025 was a tough year for many. As we move into 2026, our focus remains the same: creating space to slow down, look after each other, and build wellbeing that fits real lives.
We’ll see you for a sweat sometime soon.
