How to Be More Sustainable

Earth Hour gives us a moment to pause and reflect on the impact we have on the world. Our earth is our home and we all have a role to play in nurturing and protecting it all year long.

Earth Hour gives us a moment to pause and reflect on the impact we have on the world. Our earth is our home and we all have a role to play in nurturing and protecting it all year long.

HERE ARE SOME SIMPLE WAYS THAT WE CAN LESSEN OUR FOOTPRINT, BE MORE SUSTAINABLE AND TAKE CARE OF OUR PLANET.

  • Avoid single-use plastic and use re-usable cutlery, bags and packaging

  • Buy second-hand goods and donate what you no longer use instead of throwing items away

  • Grow a vegetable patch in your backyard or create a potted herb garden on your balcony

  • Purchase from brands that make an effort to reduce their environmental impact

  • Recycle

  • Ride a bike or walk to your destinations when possible

  • Turn off the lights and electronics at home when they’re not in use

  • Volunteer for an environmental cause that you’re passionate about

Together we can protect our home and create a more sustainable future.
