Be Your Own Valentine
Your relationship with yourself is the longest and most important one you’ll ever experience.
Your relationship with yourself is the longest and most important one you’ll ever experience. This Valentine’s Day, lock in a date with you and schedule in some self-love.
PAMPER
Do something that makes you feel beautiful and confident in your skin. Treat yourself to a fresh manicure or a hydrating face mask. Light some candles and sink into a hot bath. Massage a luscious moisturiser all over your body.
INDULGE A LITTLE…OR A LOT
Take yourself out for brunch and order your favourite coffee. Cook a nourishing dinner or order a delicious meal from a local restaurant. Pour a glass of wine (or two) and indulge in some gooey cheese or dark chocolate.
GENTLE MOVEMENT
Get your body moving in any way that feels good. Enjoy some fresh air while strolling around the park or take a refreshing dip in the ocean. Do a slow yoga flow or pop on some ‘feel-good’ tunes and dance around your home.
SLOW DOWN
Take a moment to properly wind down and relax. Curl up with a new book that’s been waiting on your shelf or write your thoughts down in a journal. Find somewhere quiet to meditate, return to your breath and simply be.
PUT YOURSELF FIRST
We often put others’ needs before our own then feel guilty when we do prioritise ourselves. Give yourself permission to be selfish today. Looking after yourself is a necessity and will leave you radiating with self-love and self-worth.
